Welcome to Midwest Historic Masonic Lodge Association
- We manage a Masonic Lodge hall and exhibit in Old Cowtown Museum in Wichita, KS. We portray and present the ideas of Masonry to educate the public and increase interest in the Masonic bodies.
- The Association presents historic information and education about Freemasonry to the general public and provides an accurate forum for the presentation of Masonic history in relationship to the community, Midwest Region (Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and Utah), and nation.
- We are an association of Masons and lodges, Eastern Star members and chapters, Grand Lodges and Grand Chapters, Masonic organizations, and organizations interested in Masonry and history. See our Members and Partners pages.
- We are not part of any other Grand Jurisdiction. We are officially recognized by the Grand Lodge of Utah, AF&AM and the Grand Lodge of Kansas, AF&AM. We are a private Not-For-Profit corporation in Kansas and do not speak for any other organization. The Masonic history we portray is based on the published sources. The general history we portray is researched from public sources.
- Midwest Historic Masonic Lodge Association Inc. is a Kansas 'Not For Profit' Corporation to research, publish and present historically accurate information about Freemasons and Masonry.
- We are registered with the IRS as an Exempt Organization under 501(c)(3).
